Chevrolet Beat Facelift

Features: The Facelift has revised cosmetics to give a fresh lease of life to the compact hatchback and is expected to get a few changes. The smiley face will not be changed and you can see the big swept back headlamps and hexagonal grille. It has a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine and the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine options and both the engines will be powering the front wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox. The new Beat may get ABS-EBD and dual front airbags. It will be aesthetically inspired from the Chevrolet Essentia. The layout of its interiors will continue to be the same, with black and grey hues. Platform and cabin space will remain the same.

Nissan X-Trail Hybrid

Nissan X-Trail Hybrid

Features: The X-Trail Hybrid looks striking and quirky on the outside, because of the ‘V’ chrome accent on the grille and the high-set hood. For an improved road presence, it has the striking pair of headlights with featuring LEDs. The X-Trail comes with subtle curves and appealing rear-end design which looks attractive with a big tailgate and detailed taillights. It has a 2-litre, in-line 4-cylinder petrol engine, a 31kW electric motor for the power output of around 180bhp. The X-Trail Hybrid will be a fully imported model that makes it expensive. X-Trail’s dashboard is angled towards the driver. It has an attractive silver accent three-spoke steering wheel which matches the door pads and the centre console.

Tata Hexa

Expected Launch: January 2017

Tata Hexa

Features: This latest SUV from Tata, measuring 4,764mm in length, 1,895mm in width and 1,780mm in height. It comes with a long wheelbase of 2,850mm. Hexa has projector headlamps, new bumper with fog lamps, a honeycomb grille, and newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels. The tail lamps have been restyled and have LED units. Under the hood, you will have the Varicor 400, a 2.2-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine – that develops 154bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. Tata Hexa is all black inside with silver coloured accents that gives its interior a premium feel. It has got automatic climate control and has a spacious cabin and comfortable third row. The infotainment system has steering mounted controls, and outside rear view mirrors are electrically adjustable and retractable.

Mercedes-Benz New E-Class

Mercedes-Benz New E-Class

Features: The alloy wheel design differentiates the E-Class from the S and the C. For India customers, it comes with 2143cc 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. E-Class has got brand new interior similar to the latest S-Class and the C-Class Mercedes. It’s bright and roomy and has the new touch panel control for the infotainment system. There is instrument cluster with two analog dials for the speed, the EVS and there is a screen between these two for reading out all the vital information. E-Class comes with dual-zone climate control, automatic headlamps, cruise control, and rain-sensing wipers.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis

Maruti Suzuki Ignis

Features: Ignis is the Suzuki’s iM-4 concept. Its minimalist body comes with a muscular look and consists of plain surfaces and round roof. It has got some dramatic features such as the shell-like roof, the front fascia with the sunglass-clad look, and the attractive slits on the C-pillar. Ignis will be 3,700mm in length, 1,660mm in width, and 1,595mm in height. It has got LED daytime running lights. It will get the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine and 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The interior of Ignis will be black with silver accents and will get the quality similar to Maruti Suzuki Swift. It has got automatic climate control, reverse parking sensors, a modern touch screen for SmartPlay infotainment system, and a multifunction steering wheel.
